Terms of Business



1. It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate information to insurers when you take out your insurance policy, throughout the life of the policy and when you renew your Insurance. It is important that you ensure that all statements you make on the Proposal Form, Schedules and details on Claim Forms and other documentation are full and accurate. Please note that if you fail to disclose any material information or change of circumstances to your Insurers, this could invalidate your Insurance cover and could mean that part or all of your claim may not be paid.We strongly recommend that the information provided is checked thoroughly prior to submission and at renewal and that you keep a record of all correspondence supplied in relation to the arrangements of your insurance cover.

2. We will provide a claims handling service for as long as you remain a customer and will provide you with reasonable guidance in pursuing your claim.We will handle claims fairly, promptly and keep you advised of developments. We will explain in writing (where appropriate) why your Insurers are unable to accept your claim, otherwise we will forward settlement without avoidable delay once it has been agreed.

3. We may contact you by telephone during normal business hours in order to discuss your current insurance arrangements.

4. Information that we hold about you will be held on computer and/or in paper files. This information will be used to administer your application, to deal with queries and to bring to your attention additional services and products that may be of benefit to you. The information that you give us may be disclosed to third parties, such as product providers and credit reference agencies for the purpose of processing your application, to our regulators, The Financial Conduct Authority, and to our Compliance Advisors. It will also enable further services to be provided to you, and so that your details can be best matched with the services available.You may ask us not to contact you about additional services and products by writing to us at the address on this notice.

5. All premiums received from you and all refunds and claims monies due to you will be held by us as agent of the relevant insurance undertaking.

6. In the course of providing our financial services we will not be acting contractually for you.
